2025 Junior Nationals @ Spring-O

NTOA is pleased to once again host the Junior National Orienteering Championships, along with a Texas-sized Spring-O National event that is open to all! Join us at Sid Richardson Scout Ranch (aka, SR2) to compete and have fun on a brand-new map by Jonathon Campbell (NEOC). We'll be releasing more info over the coming months.

Format: All races are Nationally Sanctioned by Orienteering USA.

Junior Nationals
The Junior Nationals includes both the Interscholastic and Intercollegiate championship competitions. See additional courses and classes required for the Junior Nationals in the OUSA Rules of Competition, starting at section A.34.
Spring-O
Spring-O 2025 will be a nationally ranked event (formerly known as "A" events) open to everyone.
- All standard OUSA competitive courses and classes will be offered. Competitors MUST pre-register at OUSA Event Register (link to be provided about 6 months before the event).
- Recreational courses for white, yellow, orange, brown and green will be offered. (No red or blue rec courses.) You can pre-register (appreciated, for map counts) or sign up day of event.
Directions
Google Maps estimates travel time from DFW International Airport to the SR2 entrance gate at about 1 hour, 15 minutes (74 miles/120 km). Note that it's about 5 miles (8 km) from the gate to the Event HQ on occasionally rough dirt roads. Plan on 15-20 minutes to arrive at Main Camp.
