Oak Point DIY-O Map Page

Schedule

Controls will be in the field when the park opens on the morning of Sat.,  May 2. The event ends when the park closes on Sun., May 10 and controls will subsequently be removed. Daily park hours are 5 am - 11 pm.

Instructions

Download the all-control, Score O-style map and clue sheet. If you’re fairly new to orienteering, print a map legend to understand what the colors and shapes mean, and clue descriptions to learn what various clue symbols mean. Tip: Put both sheets in a clear plastic storage bag to keep them together while you’re out on the course.

REMINDERs:

  • Controls are numbered 10-59.
  • Control points 14, 16, 36, and 47 were not ribboned as they have become really inaccessible due to excessive vegetation growth, and the course setter didn't have a machete. They're still on the map and clue sheet, but please don't go look for them.
