Due to the pandemic, we’re kicking off our Fall 2020 season with Do-It-Yourself (DIY) orienteering events instead of our traditional ones. The new format will follow state and local regulations, adhere to guidance from Orienteering USA, our sport’s national governing body, and hopefully, protect the health of participants and organizers. We will encourage distancing by extending the duration of the event and eliminating the need for anyone to touch equipment that is used by other runners.
First up: Gateway Park in Fort Worth, with self-serve maps of two short courses (Easier and Harder) available here on the website on Sept. 18, and ribbons in the field for 10 days, between Sept. 19-28. Please read all instructions carefully. But don’t forget to have fun!
