Tyler State Park
Welcome to NTOA's annual April meet at beautiful Tyler State Park. Mary Lynn Genovesi has worked hard on designing a set of challenging courses for this jewel of the State Park system. There are some slight operational changes from years past. So, please read carefully.
Park Entrance Fee
There is an entrance fee for each person as you enter the park. Please contact the park for the exact fee.
School groups may qualify for a discount. Please call the park at 1-800-792-1112 or 1-903-597-5338 to make arrangements.
We will be using the large group pavilion as we have in previous years. This area is just past the entrance to the boat ramp.
We will be using the group pavilion that we have used in the past. So, we can park there unless directed by park staff. Buses can park at the boat ramp parking lot. This lot is not very large but buses may be able to park there. Otherwise, students can be dropped off and the buses can park where directed by NTOA staff or Park staff Rangers.
Individual cars will need to park at the park store lot area. When you check in for the event, tell the Ranger that you are here for the event and they can tell you where you can park.
There are restrooms at the bath house area. There are also facilities located near the campgrounds throughout the Park.
The assisting school will be North Mesquite High School JROTC. They are led by Billy Tollison. Special thanks to this group for all that they do for this event.
Areas of the park are marked as "Out of Bounds". This includes camping grounds that are marked by red stripes on the map. Do not go into the camping areas. Otherwise, please be respectful of others and pick up after yourself if you bring in water, etc.
