  • Course time limits: All competitors must report to the finish line after 3 hours from their start or 2:00 pm, whichever comes first.

Classes

  • This event will be using standard NTOA classes.

  • Class Adjustments: Classes may be combined or sub-divided based on the number of entrants per class.

Special Nighttime event

Night-O

Card punch

Rehydrate, enjoy the afternoon, head over to Bodacious BBQ for an early dinner, and then come back with your headlamp for a 90 minute night time Score-O.

Who: Only advanced level orienteers (Brown/Green/Red experience) will be permitted to run the course solo. Participants who have only run W, Y or O, must run on teams of 2 to 4 people. The Night-O Czar will check past results and screen entries; please don't try to be sneaky orienteer. The Supremely Exalted Night-O Czar reserves the right to disallow participation to those deemed not prepared for advanced level night navigation.

When: Meet at 7:15 pm for instructions. Race will start promptly at 7:30 pm.

Where: Bathhouse parking lot.

Cost: $5 per map (proceeds will be donated to the US Junior Orienteering Team).

Registration for the Night-O is separate from the regular day-time event.

For teams, please enter the name of the person with the most advanced skills. The Supremely Exalted Night-O Czar reserves the right to disallow participation to those not prepared for advanced level night navigation.
