Meet Director Notes
Welcome
Welcome to Bob Woodruff park.
Misc Info
Manual punching will be used for all courses.
There should be plenty of parking available on the north side of the park just off San
Gabriel Drive. The event HQ will be at the large pavilion on the north side of the park.
It is south of the parking area and visible from San Gabriel Drive.
Park Blvd. crosses
the middle of the park and is a busy road. Runners are not allowed to cross over
Park Blvd., but should use the path under the bridge on either side of the creek.
Also, please watch out for others using the park such as bikers on the paths. You should
always look both ways before stepping onto or crossing the concrete paths.
Horses use the north end and the west woods to the Outdoor center, so if you encounter any
horses, try not to startle them. You should give them plenty of room and should walk
rather than run by them.
All runners should give right of way to any horse or horse and rider.
Restrooms:
These have been winterized and closed. No restrooms available.
No porta-johns available. Take care of this before you arive and plan to do it
au natural.
As always, please help us to leave the park cleaner than we find it so that we will be
welcomed back for future orienteering events.
Be safe, but have fun!
